Epirus is one of Greece’s most traditional livestock regions — its herds graze freely across pastures shaped by mountains, rivers, and the area’s unique microclimate. This milk, rich in aromas and nutrients, is the foundation of BAFAS Pecorino of Epirus.

Inspired by the Italian technique of pecorino — a hard cheese made from sheep or goat-sheep milk — but crafted exclusively from 100% Epirot free-range goat and sheep milk, the result is a cheese with an intense buttery aroma, a delicate saltiness, and a complex, rich flavour that develops on the palate.
